When did you start working at ProComm?

Favorite things about your job?

During a VO session when a talent is “almost there,” helping them get there.

 

When I’m not at work, I spend my time…

Hiking with dog, listening to live music, watching baseball.

 

Favorite concert(s) you’ve attended?

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, (late nineties in Virginia), Lyle Lovett, Robert Earl Keen.

 

Favorite album or recording artists?

The Beatles

 

Favorite Movies/TV?

Bull Durham, Dr. Strangelove, Twilight Zone, Star Trek (either one but prefer original), Master of None.

 

Favorite Books/magazines?

Any history book or biography authored by David McCullough; Wired magazine.

 

What kinds of pets do you have?

One black lab shepherd mix and a long-haired coon cat

 

 

What is one of your favorite vacations you’ve taken?

Charleston, SC

 

If we looked in your refrigerator, what would we find?

Hummus, yogurt, cheese, more hummus.

 

Favorite Foods?

Mediterranean, grilled salmon and a fat grilled burger.

 

What was your first car?

1976 Datsun B210.

 

If you woke up tomorrow as an animal, what animal would you choose to be and why?

A retired thoroughbred horse.   You know why.

 

What event do you remember most fondly from high school?

1976 Concert Choir, rehearsing for a citywide concert we got a standing O from all the other choirs.

 

If you could only travel to one more country, which country would you choose?

New Zealand or Ireland – can’t decide.

 

Do you have a ‘most memorable’ VO session that you worked on?  

A radio campaign for The Flower Shop, six 60 second spots. The scripts were creative and fun and the client was open to whatever we wanted to do to make them better.  We all had a blast and were happy to collaborate on truly creative stuff.

What, or who, are you a “closet” fan of?

“Hometown” and “Good Bones” on HGTV (NOT “Fixer Upper”)

 

Over the course of your life, how many cities have you lived in and which was your favorite? 

Five.   Asheville, but of course.

 

Dream career if not working at ProComm and could make a living?

Ballpark Vendor
