ProComm Voices producer Dan Friedman has penned his first book on the subject of voice overs. It’s called ‘Sound Advice: Voiceover from an Audio Engineer’s Perspective.’

As both a producer and a voice talent (most recently doing some nice work for Moe’s), Dan brings a different point of view to the subject of voice overs. He’s contributed some great articles to the ProComm Voices blog, including pieces on selecting a microphone and mic technique. You’ll find more great advice in Dan’s book, including everything from studio set-up to session etiquette.

Whether you’re experienced in the business of voice overs or just getting started, there’s lots of useful information.
