Sad news with the passing of Tom Keith, sound effects master on public radio’s “A Prairie Home Companion.” Here’s hoping his career inspired others to keep the magic of live radio going.

Fourth of July song

ProComm Voices will be closed on Monday July 4th for the holiday, but we’d like to share this song written and performed by ProComm voice talent Mare Carmody. Mare says the song came to her from a dream she had about her former neighborhood in Suffolk, Virginia; the neighborhood where she and her husband bought their first house together and began to raise their two children.
